About Graham A. Holliday
For over four decades, it has been my honor to care for others and help them work through difficult times in their lives. Unlike conventional therapy, I don't believe in hashing over the same issues session after session for years. I want to give you the tools that you need now so that you can also help yourself find greater happiness and fulfillment. My door is always open, and so is my mind. There is nothing we can't work through with simple dialogue and journaling. I want you to take those "Aha" moments and keep running with them so that they become a full "Aha Movement." EAP Counsellor, Individual and Couples, Individual Anger Management (Directed and self-referred)
Children and Adolescents around General and Victims of Abuse and including Perpetrators, Child
Inclusive Practice (Intervention focused on estranged parents and the impact of their conflict on the
child’s)
All the afore-mentioned involved Screening & Assessments (General), Focal assessments, Goal
Attainment scales, Feedback Integration Tools and Specialised Computer Case notes and data entry.
2015 – 2017
GENERAL COUNSELLOR, THE CAMPBELL CLINIC – WAIKATO
Much the same as previous role but this involved an Outreach approach to locations in greater
Waikato area.

General counselling in partnership from home-based counselling rooms.
Apart from general counselling I also had a small Supervision practice.
2000 – 2010
GENERAL COUNSELLOR, RELATIONSHIP SERVICES – AUCKLAND & TAURANGA
General counselling included - Relationship, grief, depression, addictive habits, sexual issues and life
coaching counselling.
Domestic violence played a major part in my role as a senior counsellor. Living without violence a
one-to-one court ordered 18 session courses. A large part of my counselling load was in couple
counselling. At least a third+ of my counselling was Mediating custody access as an accredited Family
Court Counsellor under the Relationship contract with the Family Court system. This was 50% with
couples under Section 10 and the other 50% was through a system of ‘two location’ counselling. This
was possible through the nationwide network of RS offices and involved one party being with myself
and the other party seen by another counsellor in whatever location was closest to the other party.
Focus was mediating a parenting plan which both parties agreed to, and this was documented in a
report to the court that was the basis of the Parenting Order.
I also was involved in Supervision of ACC case workers and various professional individuals.
I also carried out EAP for Ministry of Health on site and in the RS offices.
I also ran a private practice counselling and supervisor in partnership with my then wife (also a
counsellor)
